Summary

The Assistant Studio Manager will report directly to the Studio Manager and play an integral role in handling the day-to-day operations of the studio. The selected candidate will provide the vision, leadership, and energy to drive the business to excel, while promoting an outstanding studio experience for all clients. Ownership of the customer experience includes control and management of the physical environment,and communication with clients.

Responsibilities

  • This position will work closely with the Studio Manager to provide a high-level guest experience and customer service to all of our clients

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the studio

  • Evaluate and respond to all member issues and concerns with the highest level of customer service

  • Assist in managing studio physical space, supply ordering, and sales.

  • Work with the Studio Manager to execute marketing initiatives and event planning within the Studi

  • Act as a point of contact for emergencies, conflicts and guest relations resolution. Assistant Manager is expected to be on call to address these issues in a timely fashion on their scheduled work days, and to find suitable coverage when they’re not available.

  • Maintain all schedules, accounts, and information in MindBody Online. Ensure accurate and complete client records, financial data, and retail inventory

  • Deliver effective marketing collateral into the community.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holiday and evenings shifts

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs

  • Experience with MindBody Online a plus

Education/Training/Experience

  • An accomplished customer service or salesperson with 1-2 years of experience in specialty branded fitness, retail or hospitality environments

  • Managerial experience a plus

  • Experience with a brand that is highly specialized and has a dynamic culture a plus

  • Strong sales and customer service acumen
